Title: touch plate support?
Post by: crchisholm on February 28, 2017, 04:10:35 PM
I have Mach4hobby, PMDX 411, and g540.  I had seen on a promo for the 411 that it would be supporting the touch plate "very soon".  I think that promo was over a year old. Is the touch plate supported with 411 and g540?

PMDX-SmartBOB plugin support for probing functions, including the use of
a touch plate, were released over a year ago on 16 July 2015. You can
stay informed about our updates by subscribing to our support forum
announcements, or by visiting this web page:

Mach4 itself greatly improved support for probing with the release of
build 4.02.3233, but the default install does not yet include a classic
automated tool length offset function. Several folks have commented
on this and there may be code for it on the MachSupport forum.
