Title: Mach4 hobby version 3468
Post by: smcelhaney322 on August 05, 2017, 06:16:17 PM
I notice that PMDX has link to the Mach4 hobby version 3390 but the latest is the 3468.  Is the PMDX 411 been tested with the 3468 version?

Looks like PMDX now has a link to the Mach 4 hobby version 3468.  So I assume that this is compatible with the PMDX-411.

Looks like a newer version of  Mach4 Hobbv is out there.  Had two errors and I don't know if it is Mach 4 or PMDX 411.   When requesting to "Go to Work Zero", I got an error of "Axis 3 commanded while disable" even though Mach 4 was in a enable condition.  Picture attached.

When I "Reference All Axes", it seemed to work but I did get an error of "Unexpected homing request while Mach 4 is disabled, ignoring".  Mach 4 does disable when referencing is complete.  Picture is attached.
Both of these errors where on version 3468 and the later version that was available on 8/10.

Build 3468 and 3474 introduced new features but also an unexpected bug. They were
removed from the released build download area while the bug gets resolved.

Users who loaded these builds should consider reverting to build 3390 for stability.

If you are running customized profiles that have been saved with a new name other
than the default sample names, you can reload build 3390 and your customized profiles
will still be here.

If you are still running with profiles named Mach4Mill, Mach4Mill_6Axis, Mach4Lathe,
or Mach4Router then you should use the Copy Profile function of Mach4Loader to
make a fresh copy of your profile with a new name before reloading build 3390 so
that your profile does not get overwritten.
