Title: PMDX-107 connected to Teco-L510
Post by: Rusty Knuckles on April 27, 2020, 10:25:13 AM
I got my 107 last week and started hooking it up this morning.  I'm to section 2, #6 - "apply power".  Since I'm wiring my first VFD here I thought I'd get a double check before I crank on the juice.

What I have

107                             VFD

Agnd                          AGND
Aout                           AVI
Aref
COM                           COM
Fwd/Run                     S1
Rev/Dir                       S2

VFD manual here - https://www.tecowestinghouse.com/Manuals/L510_instruction_manual.pdf
My main reference pages are 3-10 and 4-11

VFD is connected to motor and works fine using built in keypad.

PMDX-126 is all wired up and working fine moving all axis.

Just looking for a sanity check.  Don't want to burn anything up.

Thanks in advance!

Hopefully you are past this by now :)  But, yes, those connections look correct.  Make sure you program the VFD to look for the control voltage instead of (or in addition to) being controlled from the front panel (looks like group 00-02 or 00-03, plus 00-04 to configure S1/S2 as fwd/rev or run/dir).
