Sure could use a few extra inputs and a few extra outputs.  PMDX-108 offers choice of inputs or outputs.  Is there a solution that would provide some of each? Can an input be used as an output or visa-versa? Thanks

I thought I was purchasing a Huanyang VFD but got an ASKPOWER A131 that looks the same but the wiring and parameters are different.  My current issue is that there seems to be a single gnd input terminal on the VFD. This would have the J1 COM and Agnd connected together to the same VFD terminal.  The PMDX107 manual repeatedly says not to connect grounds together at risk of cosmic crisis and loss of isolation.  Any suggestions?  I am including the VFD wiring diagram and terminal pinout diagram.

Second question:  Since both the PDMX107 and the VFD can be set for 0-5V or 0-10v is one better than the other?

Third: Does anyone have any feedback on parameter settings for the ASKPOWER A131?

Note: The spindle I received with the ASKPOWER did not come with a connector.  It was a slightly different style with a bayonet style barrel. I could not locate one except from a factory in China that wanted to talk production quantity so I had to change out and re-solder the bulkhead connector on the spindle.  Found setup info for the Huanyang but yet to find any on the ASKPOWER. The message is be careful when purchasing.
Thanks,
Mark

Hello.  First post.  I am leaving my comfort zone, mechanical, and starting the electronic and software aspects of my CNC machine build.  I have a PMDX-126,  PMDX-107, two PMDX-133, ESS and am using Gecko G203V drivers.  Late model PC with windows 7.  Plan to purchase 2.2KW water cooled spindle.  My machine will initially be 3 axis (with a fourth slaved gantry axis) but it is designed be 5 axis (6 motors).  Have not yet obtained MACH software.  Any suggestions: Should I go Mach3 or Mach4 hobby?  Thanks for any recommendations.
