The Fault terminal on the PMDX-122 is an INPUT to the PMDX-122.  Likewise, the ENA+/ENA- terminals on your driver are most likely INPUTS to the driver (read your manual to be sure).  So that won't do anything useful.

The PMDX-122 Fault input is meant to be connected to a normally open EStop switch (as opposed to the more standard normally closed EStop that would be connected to the EStop terminal), or to motor drivers that have a fault OUTPUT signal.

See the PMDX FAQ "Should I connect the 'Enable' input on my motor drivers?" for their recommendation of what to do with the enable terminals.

Are there any alternatives to connecting the PMDX-122 Fault Input than the standard way?

That is a pretty vague question.  I would guess the answer is "probably, maybe"  What do you wish to do with the fault input?

I am not too clear with what you are saying, but I believe there is a standard way to get this done.
