Hello,
My first post here.
I originaly got my router up and running just fine with the PMDX-126 and a Regular router motor. Worked great, and was able to control the router on of from the PMDX-126 just fine.
I had always intended to get a true spindle for my machine and purchased the common Chinese Huanyang HY02D223B and 2.2KW 24,000RPM Spindle.
But I am running into control problems.
I can control the spindle fine from the VFD, an HY02D223B, but i get no response from Mach3. Not even a twitch.
Here is the document i followed on setting Mach3 and my PMDX-126 and PMDX-107 control boards.
http://www.pmdx.com/Doc/AN002_PWMSpi...Stepper_02.pdfAnd here is my pinout from the PMDX-107 to the VFD
PMDX-107 - VFD
Rev/Dir - REV
FWD/Run - FOR
COM - DCM
Aout - VI
Agnd - ACM
And here are the PID settings in the VFD
PD001 - 1 (change to 0 to allow control from the VFD buttons)
PD002 - 0
PD003 - 400
PD004 - 400
PD005 - 400
PD0023 - 1
PD00141 - 220
PD00142 - 11
PD00144 - 1440
Probing around I do not seem to be getting 10v from the PMDX-107 at the VI/ACM pins. And no pins appear to short on the PMDX-107 when i reverse direction in mach 3.
It has to be something simple, and I hope someone can point me in the correct direction.
here are screenshots of all the involved config screens.
