424 relay

hello i am new to cnc i have a 424 i am having a problem with the output relay. it will turn on with the m3 command but will not turn off with the m5 command. the g code gets stuck on the g5 command and the relay stays on. is there an output signal for spindle off that i am not seeing?

Does the G-code program simply continue running without turning the spindle off, or does the program actually hang?

Is the m5 command the last line of code in the program?

it just hangs on the first g5  there is more code after that. i am using this as a plasma table and i am using the spindle start and stop as the torch control on and off. is there a better way of doing this?

Did you mean after the first m5? A g5 is not a valid G-code command?

Nothing wrong with using m3/m5 to control torch firing.

It sounds like something is corrupted in your configuration.

Please switch to using direct email support using the email address on our Contact and About Us web page.

Create a "Packaged Profile" and send that to us as an email attachment and we will go from there if the profile looks OK.
