The PMDX-USB-Choke helps prevent electrical noise from corrupting USB communications

• Ferrite ring allows you to loop the USB cable through it several times
• Acts as a common mode filter to decrease the amount of high edge rate common mode noise traveling along the cable
• Recommended for use near the host computer's USB port because many computers lack an internal common mode filter
• PMDX SmartBOB devices have an internal common mode filter, but you can use this one at the device end for devices that do not have a filter
• Center hole is 3/4 inches in diameter to allow USB plugs to pass through it
• The ring should be placed as near the USB port or USB device as possible
